Welcome to PRLACC!

Welcome to UConn’s Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center (PRLACC)! We are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members interested in increasing awareness and understanding of Latino issues.

Throughout the year, we coordinate and sponsor a wide variety of programs and events such as guest authors and speakers, films, lectures, artistic performances, conferences, courses, and workshops that enhance leadership skills, enrich the academic experience, explore social and cultural issues, and celebrate cultural traditions. We also serve as an advocate for Latinos and provide support for students, staff, and faculty.

Stop by for a visit so you can meet our friendly staff and learn more about our services, programs, and events. Our Center is an ideal place to learn, study, relax between classes, or visit with friends. All are welcome! We are located on the 4th floor of the Student Union.
